Wendy B. Shelly, MD, FACOG, joined Fertility Specialists Medical Group (FSMG) in 2011 as the Director of Third Party Reproduction. Dr. Shelly is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Board Eligible in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.

Education

Dr. Shelly received her medical degree from the Milton S. Hershey School of Medicine at Pennsylvania State University. After her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Virginia, she completed her fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of California in San Francisco.

Awards

Dr. Shelly’s academic honors include the Outstanding Resident Teaching Award from UCSF for Exceptional Achievements in Resident Education, as well as the Award for Excellence in Obstetrics and Gynecology from the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center.

Research & Associations

Her most recent research, presented at national meetings and published in peer-reviewed journals, focuses on the role of follicular fluid antioxidants in predicting oocyte health and quality. Dr. Shelly is a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, and the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology.
