FSMG IVF/FET Shared Success Refund Program
Most IVF refund programs require a commitment of 3 cycles from the patients. Multiple cycles increase the chance of pregnancy while reducing the chance of having to refund the patient. Many individuals or couples, however, are neither financially or emotionally willing to commit to a 3-cycle IVF program. Despite entering these “3-cycle” programs, many couples still “drop out” due to other factors, such as time or stress.
At FSMG, we are confident in our ability to help you conceive; therefore, we offer an IVF/FET shared success refund program. The refund program has been created for qualified patients to provide an affordable, inclusive fee, for one cycle of In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) therapy and a subsequent cycle of Frozen Embryo Transfer (FET) therapy.
The Ethics Committee of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) reviewed “Risk-Sharing or Refund Programs in Assisted Reproduction” originally in 1998 and then again in 2006. The Committee emphasized that patients should understand the advantages and disadvantages of such programs. Patients should understand that they will be paying a higher cost for IVF if they succeed than if they had not chosen the refund program, and that there are considerable collateral costs, such as the medications and anesthesia.
The FSMG IVF/FET Shared Success Refund Case Rate costs $15,999, with a refund of $10,000 if your pregnancy does not result in a live birth. A live birth is defined as a child born who lives more than 24 hours post-delivery. We can make you this offer because of:
- Our outstanding team of physicians, clinicians, and embryologists
- Our ability to match this program to the appropriate patients based on our proprietary clinical database
- Our outstanding live birth rates with this group of qualified patients
Qualifications
The FSMG IVF/FET Shared Success Refund Program is the newest part of our mission to deliver cost-effective fertility care. Once a couple has completed a diagnostic evaluation case rate (or the equivalent) and are not using insurance to pay for their treatment, the couple may qualify for our IVF/FET Shared Success Refund program. To qualify, the patient must:
- Be 37 years of age or less on the medication start date
- Be a non-smoker for at least 12 months prior to medication start date
- Have a BMI < 35; (BMI = Weight x 703 / Height x Height), where Weight is in pounds and Height is in inches—click here to download a handy BMI chart (or see the chart below)
- Have a current (within 3 months of start date) AMH of ≥ 2.0 and an ovarian antral follicle count > 6 (determined on visit with Ultrasound)
- Not have undergone any previous IVF cycles*
- Not have an underlying health issue that needs to be addressed prior to IVF
- Have no more than 1 prior miscarriage
In addition, the male partner:
